The SMART Campaign began nine years ago in response to failing fundraisers.  Busy school families do not have the time to go door-to-door selling items such as pizza or wrapping paper in an effort to raise the much needed funds for our school.  We have found that the SMART campaign allows families to save money and relax together.

This year the SMART Campaign goal has been set at $24,000.  In the past, SMART has helped to fund such projects as replacing the gym floor, upgrading the science lab, new student desks, replacement of school windows, security gates and playground equipment.  This year the funds generated will be used to renovated the ball fields, provide enrichment activities, and purchase teacher wish list items.

We are asking each school family to contribute $85.  But to assist in meeting our goals, we are also asking parishioners, neighbors and grandparents to donate to this very worthwhile cause.  We are asking that you donate the money that you would normally spend on a grandchild or neighbor on door-to-door fundraisers - to the SMART campaign instead.  You may make your contribution on behalf of any child by placing his/her name on the pledge card.  In turn, the child you designate will receive a dress down pass.  Any contribution would be greatly appreciated. 

Each family making their SMART contribution this weekend after mass at the Main Entrance or at the Welcome Back Sunday meeting in the undercroft will receive a Dress Down Pass for each of their students.  Be sure to list each of your students’ names on the card.  Extra SMART Campaign pledge cards and pencils are located at the end of each pew.
